While sorting through the stuff in the donor Lanchester, came across this interior mirror. I know it's not for the Lanchester, what I don't know is what car it's supposed to be for. 10mm socket for scale.







There's no markings stamped into it anywhere, no stickers either. Obviously the mirror and the lens for the light in the bottom are missing. No dim-dip function.

It does look familiar I just can't remember where I've seen one like this before. No clues available with the other stuff in the car, it's a real motley assortment of things.

Does anyone recognise it?

Going to tack some other finds on here too, see if folks can ID them.

Some sort of grille emblem, missing the sticker/badge. Thought it might be 30s Morris or MG, but haven't found a match. Might be some generic tat, or from a pushbike even, I don't know.




Bakelite wiper knob. Probably from something British and 40s/50s, it's not from the LD10 we found it in, those are a different style knob in the same brown bakelite.






This chrome trim ring too, measures 55mm internal diameter and 69mm external diameter

Can' tell the size of the wiper knob, could it be one of those with a manual docking system so that you use the knob to A) move the blade to the start position and then B) spin the knob clockwise to start the motor?

I believe the bakelite knob functions as you describe, it's labelled the same as the ones in the Lanchester and that's how those work.

The chrome ring is probably from a classic Mini it turns out, the dimensions are apparently about right for the front indicators.

Just discovered the bakelite knob might be from a Daimler Consort after making the above post too.

The first picture looks like a radiator surround of a vintage toy car maybe.
