I don't know what I am doing wrong.







If I can't find a solution I will have to hand the car over to a bodyshop.

The problem is I can't justify the expense. Sad

I have had that reaction with a “heavy ish” coat of cellulose applied over an acrylic primer.
Try it again with an initial light coat, it creates a barrier so you can then paint normally.

Thanks Dave. This afternoon I knocked it back and tried again with a lighter touch and it was fine.

Tomorrow will be the moment of truth when I apply the top coats. I have managed to finish the double hump scuttle top so - apart from the body tub - that and the rest of the car is masked off.

If I can get the body tub done I can then fit the dashboard and with the electrics and fuel connected up, I can see if it will start. Shocked
