Shout up if you want a discount code, knocks a few pounds off, better than nothing.

I've just come back and although I enjoyed it I have to say I thought it was smaller than before (only 3 halls and plenty of space) and low attendance from us public.

Maybe 2 classic car shows a year at the NEC is one too many ?

I visited the National Motorcycle Museum in the morning and went on to the NEC later. I have to say, good as the car show was, I enjoyed the motorbikes more. Entry was 15 pounds and the car park was free ...where the NEC was a rip off.!

I hope the organisers are finally getting the message, it far too expensive and they're making it less attractive to the suppliers too, by ripping them off high charges to have a stand there.
For too many years this show gets more expensive, and less on offer. You can spend nearly a hundred quid, just getting there, paying admission, parking and having a brew. The auto jumble is now a shadow of its former and there are no bargains to be had. Even show special prices can easily be bettered online.
If they don't listen, they will kill it off for all but the wealthy.

I didn't go this time. I usually go with a few mates and we can share the cost of travel, but none of them were able to go this time so that left it at almost ?60 for train and entry ticket, and I decided not to bother with it. Maybe next time.
