Yes, and not before time!
They were always something of a 'closed shop'; being only available to Cabbies. I wonder what rest places were available for all the Coachmen and Carriage Drivers who visited from outside the Capital?

I'm not aware of any cabbies bothies in Edinburgh but you can still see the remains lorry drivers' bothies in Spain. They often have distances on their gables.
