My wife asked me yesterday if I'd ever heard of 'Frank Fritz'? Yes, of course I had, I'd been a keen viewer of American Pickers for years...

She then read the article out that he'd sadly passed away.

I know American Pickers wasn't everyone's cup of Tea but I remember many real gems found out but Mike and Frank and some real characters they met along the way.

Yeah I was sad to read that the other day, I'm not an avid follower of the programme but it's a fun watch even if just to ogle some peoples' collections.

Sad news !
I "was" a fan of the program and watched it as much as possible, but unfortunately the other half "isn't" so haven't been watching as much as I used to.
I hadn't heard, so I will check it out on-line!
Thanks for letting us know!

I love American Pickers and its not the same since Frank left the show at all. So sorry to hear he has passed.

Frank and Mike split up in 2020, and I believe the basis of their problem was Frank's drinking. Several years ago he had a cerebral haemorrhage and was cared for by family and friends firstly at home and later in a care home. You might not know that Danielle also left the show this year and now is to be found in Puerto Rico. The series (and repeats) continues with Mike Wolfe's brother now taking the place of Frank Fritz.

I still think the originals with Mike and Frank are the best, it all got too choreographed for me later on.
