Just thought I'd post this here in the aviation section, our visit to what was RAF Kemble, now Cotswold Airport.

This was our first visit, I'd read of this place before mainly due to the turnover of expired airliners that head there to be recycled/chopped up. The preserved 747 was certainly an eye-opener up close, and fortunately the Bristol Britannia was open and being worked upon, so we could get inside for a nosey and chat with the gents looking after it.

Other aircraft present included a Red Arrows Gnat, Buccaneer, Canberra and Hunter.
