Erindoors and I went over to the half-way stop on the Cheshire Run, a road run for classic commercials. Great selection of old lorries from the 30s through to the 70s, here are some pics of the more interesting (ie older) vehicles that took part Smile























Anyone else visit shows this weekend?

Superb pictures Rick. Nice to see that Satterthwaites Foden has been restored sympathetically. Their garage was just up the road from me, and it was derelict in their yard for years.


I don't know how it would have coped with recovering one of these, laden with coal en route from the Cannock Chase coalfield to Walsall power station, Shocked these 8 wheel tippers were their mainstay for decades:
