Great news for Wolseley enthusiasts!
The Wolseley Forum is delighted to announce that we now have 2 members of our Forum who each own a 1936 Wolseley 12/48 Coupe. There was only ever 6 of these cars made by G H Olding and Sons of Sydney, Australia. These are the only two known to still exist in the world today! This is absolutely fantastic.
We look forward to reading about the restoration progress of both Wolseleys on the Wolseley Forum in the future. We will keep the Classic and Vintage Vehicle Forum updated with this.

Hi Paul
As neither of these two rare Wolseleys are mine I would have to ask the owners for their permission to post their pictures here.
In the mean time however, you can see them at www.WolseleyForum.com, here.

I understand. The parents of a friend of my daughter used to own (maybe still do as we have had no contact for several years) a Wolseley of about that vintage that was said to be rare.
Meanwhile out of pure curiosity do any of your members own veteran motors with the flat twin engine. I have seen a couple in museums but never got close to one. I am curious about the similarity to the Jowett engine.

I do believe Arrol Johnstone produced a flat twin in the early days. Curiously, I think one cylinder was greater capacity than the other! _________________ Quote from my late Dad:- You only need a woman and a car and you have all the problems you
