What can I say? I got sidetracked. I have finally updated the MGB thread (and my dads Viva Van thread) in the relevant sub forums but thought I'd say hello again to all.

So what's been going on? This and that, more that than this lol. The V8 conversion is coming along, planning to get it finished this year. In the meantime to curb my craving last August I bought a 'modern' classic, a Ford Puma 1.7. I was lucky that this was a one owner from new with just 39,000 miles on the clock. I bought it, tinkered with it, put a timing belt and front tyres on it and enjoyed the hell out of it for 6 months:

But 2 weeks ago a sold it, why? to get this:

It's a rare John Cooper Works tuned Auto with paddle shift box. Ok it's not a classic but I've always wanted a Mini so now I can say I've had one.

Elsewhere, alongside working on the MG and my dad fixing up his HA, my brother gave the Anglia a look over and it's still holding up to long term storage pretty well. No major corrosion and only a minor assault in the engine bay by mice. He cleaned the interior and gave the dusty but covered exterior a wipe over with a rag, and it cleaned up pretty good!

Once the MGB is finished, this will be the next project I hope.

Instead of having a number of different threads, what are the thoughts on my just combining them all into one 'blog' thread?

Welcome back - I'd prefer separate threads tbh, it makes following each car's story that much easier Smile
