This really stems from a posting chat old gto and I were having in another thread and sort of dovetails into the original "Seen anything interesting???" thread running just now.

I had mentioned a very long road to old gto that runs the length of Orlando, the Orange Blossom Trail, known locally as the OBT. The road itself has long lost its principal use since the freeways were built, and in sections its shabby and none too safe, especially at night. However in the run down parts are numerous "shops", (garages to us) where the locals have their repairs, etc done and this is where the interesting stuff is.

The following pictures I took at one of these shops in 2003 when this "style" was all the rage and originated within a specific ethnic group of Americans - I reckon its an acquired taste myself, but I just love the sheer "in your face home-boy" outcome! Cool

Anybody else got unusual "styles" they've seen?

The road of which Scotty speaks is sort of like a north -south version of route 66. 441 runs from Miami to Chicago.
The style is now being called a "donk", and this one is fairly tame compared to many that are around now. The wheel sizes have gone to 30 inch and larger! Bright candy paints, and interiors to match are common.

And to think, only a few years ago, "low riders" were all the rage, LOL!
Now the young auto enthusiasts have gone in the opposit direction!

A couple of friends went to Wheels Day at Rushmoor Park earlier this year and spotted this Donk.

Complete with a small portable TV in the trunk:

Nah, don;t do anything for me, give me a lowrider any day over a donk.
(Thank sounds a litte rude Embarassed )

I will deal with you when I see you.

Hey, you could turn the Sceptre into a super donk, big bling-bling wheels and fancy candy paint work.
