While going through some old photos in an album (pre-digital days!), digging out the pics of the 2.5 Spit, I found some other photos showing motors that have long since passed to new owners. Here are a few from those pre-digital days...incl the 2.5 for completeness, with Volvo 121 YKA 750J behind:

and another Swede, the bullnose van, seen here in 1992:

This S1 XJ12L went to a new home sometime in 1995 or 1996 I think, a great motorcar in every way, seen with the S3 XJ12 HE that dad owned at the time:

One more for now, and at least I know where this one is now Wink seen here in 1989 with dad, and his S3 XJ6 reg. ANE 100Y:

few more to be going on with, all specials of some kind this time:

firstly, an Aquaplane-equipped Ashley 1172 that I had back in 2001, now in Germany I believe:

In 2004 I found this oddball machine. The owner thought it was a Falcon Caribbean, but investigations identified it as a Nickri Champion, so far the only known survivor. This went to a new owner in Sale, who had now got it back on the road (and posts here occasionally):

The Nickri was on a rotten Herald chassis, yet originally would have been on Ford Pop running gear. The spaceframe 100E-powered device shown below turned up shortly after the Nickri, so I bought it thinking that it'd go well with the Nickri bodyshell. Needless to say lack of time and other distractions never saw that idea come to anything. This one went on to be restored by its new owner, and I think I last saw it advertised on French ebay:
