Sketchleys had about 25 or 30 shops around the Birmingham area when I drove this van for them, and I was the only Birmingham driver so was kept busy , and used to do a fair amount of miles every day, mostly town work, and on a warm day sometimes the heat from the manifold used to evaporate the petrol in the carburetter, so I had to wait for 20 mins. or so to let it cool down, and with the high body and the ford tranverse springs it rocked like a boat on corners if you were going a bit too fast. Great motor though, and great days.
