Another creation of the late (and much lamented) Monty Mason.
Back at the dawn of time Monty aquired a property with a lawn the size of a cricket pitch and decided to build a ride-on mower.
Old Austin 7s were ten-a-penny so he used one for the basis of the mower.
He fitted two gearboxes in series so that he could walk alongside it with both firsts selected. A pulley between the two gearboxes to drive the mower blades (removed in photo) and a couple of reversed VW wheels at the back to give traction for some reason.
