Hi, As I young child in the early 70's I recall a lady around the corner from us had a maroon and grey Vauxhall PA on her concete drive. The car looked in quite good condition and the tax disc expired in 1970. One dayin 1974 on the way home from school a lorry was parked up outside her house. Hooks were placed through the windows and the car lifted. Obviouly being taken away for scrap. As the crane lifted the car the floor dropped down from the body. Such a shame so many of these old Vauxhalls had such a problem with rust. As I said the car looked pretty good.

Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Yes its a sad fact that many of the cars of this era rusted away, especially the Vauxhall's. Would have been a good time to have your camera with you when you witnessed the PA shed its floor Smile
