If I was to design and print off some flyers, plugging the site and forum, would anyone be up for putting a few under their car's windscreen wiper (or wherever) when attending a show with their classic?? just wondered Smile I'll probably do some for me to use anyway

Hi

I was going to sugest this, the stationary engine forum I am on, is in the process of making a logo, the forum members are making different logos, and then the best one will be picked, to make some flyers, posters, and cards, to use at rallies. PdF format, so everyone can download them or simmilar!

The other thing is those slips where you write your registation, and details of your car, they could have alogo on too! (Are they caled exhibition logs sheets or something?)

I think it is an Excellent idea, Cheers

I did put exhibition sheets on here a while back, which can be printed off direct from the browser:

they probably want tweaking a bit sometime, but will do for the time-being.

Should be going to a few shows later this year, would be delighted to display some flyers, could probably get some friends to display a few too.
Show me what you want displayed I shall print a few off.

Don.

What I'll do is put something together quickly, and link to it from the site, so that something can be printed off for now if the opportunity presents itself. Longer term I'll knock something a little snazzier up, and can post 'em off to anyone who wants them.

Hi Rick,

My 4x4 club attend Classic & Specialist Cars shows here in Wales, so I can give out some of your flyers along with ours no problem.

The 27th Vintage & Specialist Rally at Tredegar House in Newport on 16th September is our next venue.

I think the flyer idea is a good one...but PLEASE don't just leave them under peoples windscreen wipers....if theres one thing that get me spitting fire its when someone touches my car when i'm not there...i have in the past nearly decked someone for stuffing junk mail under my windscreen wiper....its my pride and joy...you touch it when i say you can Evil or Very Mad
Rant over....a great idea if you HAND them to people.

hehe fear not John Saab, I was only wonderin' if anyone would have a few underneath their own screen wiper while the car was on show, so passers by could pick one up if they wanted. I know what you mean about having them left on your own car while parked up, mighty irksome!

Great idea! I wouldn`t mind spreading some out on this side of the pond as well! One I could print out, then take to the office max & run off a stack would be easy to do.
