Hi
I nearly bought a cyclemaster hub engine etc yesterday, but decided against it! I also just missed out on one of those motorbikes that the para trooper parachuted down with! What are these called?
All together a bit of blow, but good for my bank account!
Cheers

From what I've been reading and talking with various motorcycle related groups these little engines (as are all makes of these types of engine) are becoming more collectable than they were.
We have a selection of these little units, some brand new "out of the box" and some used until they're only good for display. |

The bike that the paratroopers used during the war was called a Welbike, and was originally made by the Excelsior company.
After the war, the bike was 'civilianised' if there is such a word, and called a Corgi. That one was made not by the original company, but by Brockhouse in sunny Southport!

Buzzy, if you can find one, look for a Powerwheel. They have a rotary two stroke engine. With rotary, I mean the crank stands still, and the cylinder rotates, just like some WWI aircraft....much more your style!
I knew all this useless information I have stored would become useful one day!

You!!!!
I have it watched but am currently partway through a plan, and I think the money could be better spent on that right now, so this one may need to be rescued by someone elese. It would look good in the back of one of the devon pickups, for exploring tatton park, or one of the other classic days! hehe
Cheers
