Hi everyone
Just to start I would like to say that I came across this site by accident and think it is fantastic. It’s great to see the efforts of people passionate about older vehicles. In my job I am lucky enough to get to a few classic and vintage vehicle shows and I am amazed at the work and dedication that some people put into their vehicles.
Enough dribble please let me introduce myself.
My name is Brian and I am married and a granddad. I am a children’s entertainer (Punch & Judy man) based in the north east of England.
You will have to forgive me as I may be a bit out of place here as I have a Kit van. Please don’t dismiss me yet, it does have a classic look and it’s very rare. It’s a 1985 Imperial Specialist Vehicles, Jackdaw Van based on a Ford Cortina. Its one of only about 12 built and probably only 2 or 3 still exist. I am in the process of restoring Jackdaw and I have chronicled its progress from the very beginning with its own diary web site at www.myjackdaw.co.uk
Better credentials for me being here may be my 1965 Bailey of Bristol caravan that I have had now for over 18 years and still use regularly.
I am fairly new to these forum things and I have only ever posted on one other forum called BSC for Cortinas but I found the people on there very friendly and helpful and hope to find the same here.
Cheers
Very Happy
