hi all, maybe a silly question but this is all new to me....
do you just 'trap' the wing piping between the wing and body or does it need some sort of sealant on before fitting?
what i'm getting at is, does wing piping seal the gap between wing and car to stop water getting between or is it just for show and stop the wing rattling?
hope this makes sense

the stuff on my austin and morris is just 'wedged' between the pannels... the fit on the pannels is not as modern car standards so it's there to take up any tolerances as well as look nice and stop the rattle as you say. |
