As this jumpy, ill-defined, unedited phone film shows...my B Series 1500 engine runs again after god knows how many years as a seized lump.

I can't claim any credit. It was fixed up by the old boy on the film. This is great news. Makes me feel like the project is finally getting somewhere.

(make sure your sound is on....but watch your volume!!!)

yeah, cheers Dave, fantastic feeling.....great noise! I like the way he painted it too (without me asking)- no half measures with Colin.

He's a rather shy and unassuming man.....but my word, he really knows his stuff. He has a bunch of A55s etc...and really finishes them to a high standard.

I won't say what it cost me but your jaws would hit the ground. He said if he charged me for labour it would cost a thousand - so he wasn't going to charge labour.....he hadn't done it for that....so basically I got it at cost. Naturally, I am enormously grateful....and the savings can be spent elsewhere (we all know how many, many parts need to be bought).
