Had a great day yesterday (2nd September) at the Volvo Marque Day at Gaydon Heritage Museum.

Amazons are 50 years old this year and were the featured model.

Over 40 Amazons met up at the Services just North of Gaydon and convoyed to Gaydon causing a jam on the M40, as all the passers by slowed to have a look at us!. We drove into the Show area together for a parade around the grounds of the Museum, with a commentary going out on BBC Radio 2.

A further dozen or so joined us during the day so the organisers ambition to get 50 cars on the 50th birthday was achieved.

I did 340 miles in the day without problems.

One of those classic days to remember.

wow wouldn't have minded going to that myself, although it may have been too much of a temptation to return 'to the fold' !!!
