|
|
Just bought a 12 gallon floor standing parts washer, they are on offer at Screwfix ;£58.79 including vat and delivery.

Any recommendations on cleaning fluids / solutions ? my first reaction (as we have oil heating) was to siphon some oil out of our tank! but have seen some water based solutions that you dilute, anyone got a favourite concoction?

Good question you have posed UK. For years, I've been using a concoction of my own, the trouble is one of the ingredients is difficult to get hold of, I'm not sure if it has been banned or not.
Otherwise, try something like Marine Clean, I've just got some myself to try, cant give you any results yet though!

Hi
Would you not want a solvent based cleaner, brake cleaner?
I used to use one at the crop sprayers, and that was really strong stuff!
Cheers

I use Jizer in my parts washer.
Never use a spirit based solvent as it could easily ignite.
