In the late fifties and throughout the sixties my father was a truck driver or "Knight of the Road" as they used to be called then. He drove Bedford trucks for companies in London like Harris Lebus, Wades Transport Baker & Selman.

I have found a few photos of 1950's Bedford trucks but the one that remains special to my heart was a furniture truck that was base on the Bella Vega coach body and made by Duple Coachworks in Luton in the late 1960's. I spent many long hours in that truck Reg No XXF 705 with my dear old Dad and would love to find out if anyone has photos of these types of trucks. Merchandise Transport a subsidiary of Harris Lebus operated a fleet of about 7 of them and I knew all the drivers and which truck they drove.

Looking at your website maybe you can help point me in the right direction to eventually see if I can get photos of these or other Harris Lebus trucks.
