Just as long as the ducks are happy there; would be a shame to take It away from them. Very Happy

The caravan in your picture looks like a 1950's Bluebird. I've come across a couple of almost identical models in Shropshire over the past three or weeks, which look as though their time is up. One was in a man's garden, next to his vegetable patch, and completely fenced in. He'd towed it back from the Welsh coast about thirty years ago and was deliberating whether or not to dismantle it - the only way he could get it out! Although part of one side looked as though it could do with re-framing, much of the interior was in surprisingly good condition - complete with solid fuel stove and original upholstery.

I know of a third - again in Shropshire - which stands on its own plot, is in amazing condition for its age and used regularly.

Barry.

I fear that many of these old caravans may be lost to the 'scrappie' now the price of aluminium is so high. Crying or Very sad
