I would love that: the first post war car I owned in 1958 was an Austin 8 van. It seemed very nippy and modern after my Standard Big 9 and Humber Snipe.
They are incredibly reliable and tough, I turned mine over on its side once: three of us turned it the right way up and it was little the worse for it.

I know someone who has contacts re shipping from either the east or west coast of the US, so don't let a little thing like distance get in the way of a bid Smile

As much as I like it, the price is a little optimistic; I'm pretty sure I could buy a restored one in the UK for little more than the asking and shipping costs of this one.

hmmmm dunno, a restored one of those vans would be £6k+ here I bet, if you could find one even....? restored Morris Z vans are over 5k and this is much rarer, 5cwt Fordsons are higher still

How much are 10cwt pickups worth, when running?

Not that I plan on selling, just be good to know how much I could get back, to go towards what I have/am going to spend!

Laughing

Cheers

It all comes down to the final finish - an immaculate and correct in every way pickup would be £5-6k with the wind behind it. A running truck with MOT would start at £2500 or so I'd imagine - despite being rarer, tin bodied trucks don't seem to have a premium over the more common wooden back E83W pickups. Vans can do a little better as they are popular with businesses who want to signwrite the rear body sides.
