John emailed me some photos of this unusual device, seen at a show not so long ago. It is badged up as a Trojan, even on the engine, but looks more like a homebuilt using a commercial chassis to me (note the airlines at the rear going to the trailer). The proportions, wheelsizes, dumb irons on the roof all suggest it being a one-off to me. Does anyone know anything about this vehicle? a check on the RAC site with this reg. no. just brings up a date of 1959, another hint that perhaps it utilises a commercial chassis beneath the bodywork..?

A car like this always reminds me of the one that Ian Carmichael bought in the film 'School for Scoundrels', the 'Swift Special'!
