Hi

Have a look at Ebay Item number: 300181519706

Nice project for someone, cheap at the moment too!

Cheers

hmm a fella on the NSRA (Street Rod?) forum tipped me off about this the other day, check out the hefty damage to the rear quarter - probably beyond rescue as a Utilecon. Only real future for it is to make it into a pickup, and/or remove the Utilecon bits and either sell them to someone with a Utilecon, or perhaps use them to convert a van

I didn't read the full listing, bit of a shame IMHO taking the lamps off it

saying that, not like one I bid on a while back .. I won the bidding on a car that was nicely original, with its original reg. no. and everything looked just right. When I went to collect it just a few days later, the vendor had replaced the nice old plates with modern plastic jobs, and an age-related number in place of the original. He sold it with the original number showing, yet didn't think I'd notice or mind that he'd removed it and not said anything in the listing. Needless to say I walked away and left him with the car

Hi -= I bought the Ebay van this afternoon- and am now fully braced for all jeering. No I didn't get the headlights and now realised that I could have kept the ones off my "46 grey Fergie which I sold a year ago. OK I may have paid too much - but where are all the cheap ones lined up? ES2

hi ES2, welcome along. Not sure the Fergy ones would have gone on anyway (unless it had the wrong ones fitted???). Like you say, E83Ws aren't on every street corner just waiting to be snapped up! did you say that you hope to collect it tomorrow?

Smile

Tomorrow either I fix the carb on a 93 Panda or collect E83a - I'll see what the man with the flatbed says - he's got a Prefect so probably Conningsby it is. I sold a trials '48 Ajay so had to spend before it got wasted on new batteries for the pacemaker hence the Panda, a cx500 and this. When I work out how to post pics on this site, the gory details of today's buy will be revealed without shame - and yes I have a tatty Norton ES2

Not sure - only saw it on Ebay late this morning. Wanted a sv Ford pickup for a while now, but the body looks a bit too good to slice up - the idea of a single bed camper hovers in the back of my mind but I haven't even booked the MOT yet ES2
