Hello some time back I had an early244DL volvo and bought these ,they were advertised as 244 but were too big when they arrived. If anyone knows what model they are from and can use them they are free to collector or if you too far away send me P&P and will get them off to you, not perfect but very presentable..Possibly off a 144?? Have no idea myself... Embarassed Stoke on Trent area for collection..

hi Downton, they definitely look like 142/144/145 hubcaps to me, we had a 144S as the family car in the late 70s. Smile

PS if you find some Mk1 A40 wings in your garden shed, let me know Wink

Thanks for that Rick! Regarding wings... mine are fibreglass!! Ok I know some people frown on this but they were on the car when I got her and they have been well fitted and look good...and Dont have to worry about them rotting..Have you thought of fitting them or do you prefer metal panels? If its just the fit that worries you with effort they look every bit as good as their steel cousins! Can supply you with some pics if it helps...Cheers Wilf

Hi Wilf, in actual fact its really just the o/s lower wing that needs replacing, the rest isn't too bad. I have a tatty, but repairable, o/s steel wing so that'll probably be fixed up in due course and put on the car. Be good to see more pics of your A40 though!!
