And a good job to!
Came across this correspondence from October 1938, the owner complains of creaking wheels on his Wolseley 12/48. The dealer has written to Wolseley who replied basically saying, take the hub cap off and if it still creaks speak to Dunlop, who made the wheels!
Dealers wouldn't get away with this today

Well in that case I will complain about my window creaking, and, just say they have bad customer sevice etc! hehe
I like the headed paper too!

The same year that Wolseley became part of the Nuffield organization and started on the road to obscurity: this was considered a "quality car" at the time. Would you buy another one after this sort of experience?
