If like me you use eBay to source obscure bits, do you find that December is a time when real bargains are to be had? I suspect it is because;
a) People want to generate some cash for xmas
b) Other people have less cash or are too busy with xmas that they miss stuff.
A few years ago about this time of year I was showing a lad at work how eBay worked, there was a nice Morris 10 just listed with a starting price of £2400 no bids and in ended on xmas eve. I put the 1st bid on to show my mate how to bid, expecting that I would be out bid very quickly for such a nice motor, for 9 days it didn't happen ! Although a bargain I was thinking, how am going to explain this to my better half!
.
On Xmas eve right at the end of the auction I was out bid, someone got a really nice Morris 10 for £2410.
Since then I always make sure I check what on eBay around xmas, and have picked up some great bargains.
