Went for an unplanned wander around the Science Museum in London on Friday, took some photos of the motoring exhibits on my phone, aren't of the greatest quality i'm afraid.
My favourite exhibits, the sliced in half Mini
Austin Seven buried among exhibits behind glass
JET1 Rover
Pre-1917 (1914 model I think) Ford Model T
The first car in the UK, a Daimler
Stack of 1950's/60's cars
1898 De Dion Bouton Tricycle
Doesn't have wheels but i've been reading about record breakers pre-WW2 quite a lot recently - the Miss England speedboat
Two bubble cars and a 1950s Scooter
Solar powered car
Early Diesel powered Foden lorry
1914 Daimler workshop lorry for the British Army model
B type Edwardian London bus model
1936 Leyland limousine fire engine model
1926 Daimler tanker lorry |
