Hi
I am probably going to Manchester on the train maybe Wednesday, is there anything in the centre worth seeing, the science museum, or the transport museum? Obviously got to be quite central? Otherwise it will have to be Christmas shopping for most of the day? 
May aswell take advantage of being there, instead of going to find one place, and then coming straight home!

They're here, I don't know for certain of another Transport Museum but I have heard rumours of a bus museum, just haven't found it yet. |

Hi
I went to Manchester this morning, and found the hostpital I have got to attend, couldn't find the right bus, so walked there, and walked back, then did most of my shopping for Christmas, and went to the industry museum, saw a few cars, pics and details posted later. I then got very lost, and walked a zillion miles, to end up back where I started, grrrr!! 
I had walked that far, I had to buy insoles for my trainers, as I had blisters coming, tried to buy some new trainers, but finding size 14 trainers prooved difficult! I was doing more walking trying to find the trainers causing my sore feet to worsen.
Just got home, and having a good sit down.
I bought a couple of books for myself, cheap from a chap, selling them by the roadside, in a market stall type thing, looked a little dodgy, but good books, I found a load of them but he must have sensed I had my money with me for my Christmas shopping and marked them up a little dear, so after him working out a price for a box full of books I turned him down, and said, just these two please! hehe

Hi
Well these are some of my pictures of the day, some are a little blured again, I am sure my camera is not very healthy!
The next picture is of a car that was outside the museum, with officials meeting what looked like the driver in a flying jacket, there was also a film crewe filming it, not sure if it was the news or something, so could only get a quick pic of the rear, any ideas on the make/model from this angle?
Next is a lambo with what looked like a disabled voucher in it, maybe it was a parking permit! It was outside a very posh looking coffee bar!

Heck! I will see if I have any other pics of it, I took a few of aircraft, but am not clued up on them, so just snapped things I liked the look of, also a lot of them are blured!

I am not sure on that one, haven't identified it. I will have to have a go at it over the holls. They have a few Crossleys with them being from Manchester, and definateley worth a visit. I was meant to be getting a spec sheet for there cars, but it hasn't turned up, they had run out at the time, must chase it up. Also they said if I cotact the curator I can organise to go into the warehouse to look at some of the PF'ins.

Hi
Oh, I was talking about the high top limosine, the other was labled as a Crossley, and is the only veteran on display that attends veteran runs.
