Hi
Here is a site with lots of various cars and buses. British vehicles, but ignore the writing I think it is Russian or some other cryllic script.

http://ned.ronet.ru/0/Autosalon09.htm

If you change the number 09 to 08 and other choices you will get different selections, I haven't checked how many pages there are yet.

Best efforts of Google translate...

"Make Standard lasted comprising short - Leyland already in 1963, it closed. Linked to this was the fact that the standard word in the English language changed its meaning, at the beginning of XX century, it meant "exemplary, quality, but over time became synonymous with the word" banal, shirpotrebny. " (Roughly the same word has undergone a similar evolution in the Russian language). Nevertheless, this marks the car continued to produce at a subsidiary company in India, with a mark of Standard used for modifications of the vehicles that were sold in England as Triumph and Rover: perhaps the word standard in India still retains its original value. Here's one Indian "Standardov" (alas, the machine came quite rzhavenkaya):"

Yep they were made by "Standard Motor Products of India" I saw one at a show a few years ago thinking it was a non production mod! they also did a 4 door Herald based estate! Same company was making "Standard" badged Rover SD1's , don think it was a sucsess because the car was too big for India. Rimmer Bros recently bought a stack of new SD1 bits back from India. Just Googled the pics below. Dave
