Hi

You have told me this, but what is the difference between a hemi, and a normal, and what is mopar?

Cheers

Dave

P.S... to get back to the thread, so I am not totally being a drifter here it is:

The ford:-

Not got one on the net for the minis, but will have a go at putting one up soon, basically the same, whether it will be injection or carburettor.

And one for a laugh:-

Buzzy, Mopar is the term used for all Chrysler products. Originally (in the 1920's it stood for MOtor PARts.

Hemi refers to the combustion chamber shape on certain engines (392 and 426ci). I might annoy certain people with saying this, but its possibly the US engine that has won most competitions, there are still some in use today, more than 50 years since it was first manufactured!

What you refer to as normal are the Wedge engines, again due to the shape of the combustion chamber.

Pre-B Series 1200cc lump, as used in the A40 Devon and Somerset. I snaffled this one on eBay last week, fully recon and only done 8-900 miles since. Handy spare!

Hi

I have not had mini mag for a while, so have missed it, will have to try and get hold of a copy, to have a look!

I still have the Estate but looked for an engine picture, can't find one, but think there is one on my site. The link is: - www.minisidewalk.co.uk then go to the clubman Photo Shoot section, then click the Magazine Shoot Page link. It is not as clean as yours, but orriginal working! Laughing

Cheers

Dave
