After the war, mum's uncle (ie my great Uncle), Doug Jones, along with his brothers, set up a number of motorcycling related events and clubs I believe. They lived in the Knighton/Llandrindod Wells areas of mid Wales. One event they instigated was the Two Days Trial for motorcycles. I also think they were involved with setting up the Knighton Automobile Club, the Central Wales Auto Club and other motorcycle sport-related things. I'm hoping to hear more about this stuff from him. I'm posting this up here just in case anyone stumbles across this thread, and has any photographs of these events, especially the Welsh International Two Days Trial. The family on mum's side has a history of owning and competing on British motorcycles, so it'd be fun to try and find out more about it.
