Thne only things I hated about my Mini was replacing the bypass hose from the haed to the block (head on) and the SU electric fuel pump whih always bailed me up when it was teaming rain, didnt matter what I did and I might add I always had to have a suite on.

quick update
Had some spare time to get some work done to this car, so:
Steering column has been designed, made and installed.
The complete re wire has started, with the light, Ault and starter etc wired up,
The back of the van has also been started, im going for a laminated flooring in the back. (Should be different)
The roof head liner has been redone by myself and relined in black leather.
Ive re-leathered and fitted the top and bottom dash rail
And that’s about it for now. Still loads to do but im getting there slowly.

Dont try this at home!
Yes if i new how hard this was to do i dont think i would have tried doing it.
spent all day laying the flooring in the back of the van. The amount of fine cuts i had to make to get it all to fit correctly was silly. its not completely finished i will be hunting for some sort of chrome plate to install to finish off the edging from where you open the back doors. i still have a bead to run around the edge of the wooden flooringand then it needs water proofing then its about done, floor wise.
