Being a tad on the bored side, kids off school and me not at work, I decided to try to find some photos of famous Humbers. Sorry to bore the non-Humber fans out there!
1947 Humber Pullman, it was to be used for the Royal Visit of King George VI to Australia. The King passed away
before he could make the visit to Australia and it remained a Vice Regal Car. This particular Humber Pullman was used by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II for her Royal Tour of Australia in 1954. A truly Majestic Limousine.

Here's another:
"Old Faithful". 1943 Humber Snipe, used by Field Marshal Montgomery during his service in North Africa. This can now be seen in the Coventry Motor Museum.

Been doing my duties as tea-lady at the local transport museum this morning. But hopefully when I find a few minutes I'll some more photo's.
A friend has got one the few Pullmans left, was in a right state when he bought 12 years ago and my goodness is it huge!!! _________________ 1953 Humber Hawk
