Keith dropped me a line, he has an old Yamaha that he's been fettling, but is looking for someone to complete the work:
-----------------
..
Unfortunately I just don't have the time to work on the bike and
recently tried to find someone to finish the work. Unfortunately good
engineers are now thin on the ground. The last person I called in said
'write it off!' With that attitude there would be no classic machines - in
fact nothing!
Do you know of anybody in the Manchester area who can help.
Best regards. _________________ Rick - Admin

That is an unusual machine to restore. Most people seem to concentrate on the bigger Yamahas, air cooled RD 250/350/400.
Maybe a look in MCN could find someone to help with the job? |
