Hi
Sad news, I used to love watching his show, quite comical, even if some of the cars were slightly against my taste.
Cheers

R.I.P. Boyd.
I've been a hot rod fan for many years & feel saddened at this news.
People in this country such as John Baldaccino & Nick Butler aspired to Boyd to come up with their own weird & whacky creations.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of many. _________________ Don't run your fingers over my truck & I won't run my truck over your fingers!

Its sad to see him go of course.
One thing that I didnt like about him though was the fact that on occasion, he took absolutely perfect cars (eg the 59 Chevy) and did a custom on them. Why couldnt he stick to just customising things that were almost beyond repair, instead of destroying something so nice? |

Good point.
Obviously, he had too much money or that model was more abundant in his neck of the woods...or a combination of the two.
Or maybe he was a pillock. _________________ Don't run your fingers over my truck & I won't run my truck over your fingers!

Splitting hairs, Cadzzilla was not actually BUILT by Boyd, but the work on it was farmed out to a guy in VA called Ramsey Mosher....(according to my sources, not me!) |
