Can anyone help Ian out with this question????

Hi my name is Ian and like you I've been tinkering with old classic cars
since 1984 when I started working in a local garage after leaving school, and
would just like to say I've been reading your web site and found it rather good, I would like to ask you a question if poss, would you know were to find the correct radio that would have been fitted to the 1968 V8 250 daimler I'm
restoring at the moment? any help would be of great help cheers ian

| Personally, I would have taken a guess that the correct radio for the Daimler would have been one of the 5 push button Radiomobiles. But it is only a guess. |

I have a 1960s radio that was a factory fit in a Jaguar of that era. My friend was changing it for a modern radio and I had it to fit into a 1962 Daimler that I was restoring.
Usual story I sold the car before finishing it. The radio is a Motorola 727T with 5 push buttons made under licence in London by World Radio for Jaguar.
It is sitting on a shelf in my garage so make me an offer if you are interested in it. |
