please can anyone advise how to achieve this?it is the lock on a commer pb front door if this helps? I have the replacement barrel.thanks. |

I don't know specifically about your Commer but most that I've come across
have a small brass pin inserted through the cast body. I can't remember whether it's tapered or not so you'll just have to try each side to find which way to knock it out. Then barrel should then be free to pull out.

Thanks Peter,yes that was reasuring!we could see tiny brass insert,but perhaps so coroded too difficult,we are going to use a machine to drill it out!hope it is the right one.it's amazing because the chrome still looks pretty good. |
