What is anyone up to on the Drive it day, 20th April?
Hubby and our daughter are off to a nice local show, in Manningtree, Essex. We've been to this one several years running now and love it. Although my duties as a Beaver Scout leader mean that I won't be there, St Geogre's Day parade through our town for me and my son who is in Cubs!
But what about anyone else? _________________ 1953 Humber Hawk

i dont think we will be driving a classic that day, have been told we are going to the SD1 Rimmer open day and as we have just sold one of the rovers and hopefully the other one well we can not really turn up in the humber as the other rover is not on the road and no engine in the shell, I might have to get up early and drive round the block |

I decided to do my bit for Drive it Day. The local run was down to Port Patrick, a 200 mile round trip south of Glasgow. I felt that it was a little too far to travel so I decided to go to the central meeting point in Ayr to see the cars off.
Arrived home and left the car in the drive all afternoon
This Ford would certainly not be much fun to drive today as the easterly winds were very cold.....Rather him than me driving it.
This Alvis is up for sale if anyone fancies a rather odd coloured car, apart from the colour the car looks very nice.
Vauxhall Viscount....When did you last see one of these
Saab Estate
MGs were out in force today
Capris were also plentiful
Original or replica....I cant tell the difference
Yellow seems to be the new black this year

Here are hubby's photo's from the Manningtree Vehicle show.
My friends little Husky. First time out and poor thing broke down.
Might not be to everyones taste, but it very well done.
Just to prove that there were a few other classics there.
