For those of us that like to be surrounded by reminders of our hobby here's a couple of cool ideas.
Firstly (I just love this) for that hard day at the office the office Desk!
Office too small? - No problem, you need a Mini version...literally!
With storage capacity naturally.
Relaxing at home? Try this comfy armchair...
or this sofa
But the one that really made me smile because it is so 'do-able' was this one...
I can almost hear Rick rummaging around in his garage ' Umm...had one of those somewhere' |

They look great but let me tell you, if I suggested any of the above to be part of the furniture in my house I would be out sleeping in the garage _________________ ROVER

I did try suggesting a restored petrol pump (with globe), but that didn't meet with universal enthusiasm. A 50s British motorcycle, drained of fluids beforehand and parked under a lamp in front of the fireplace, was another reasoned idea that fell on stony ground. The suggestion of a suit of armour met with a better response, I just need to find an affordable one - anyone got one they don't need??

Now that I am unable to ride motorcycles any more, I have been thinking of getting a nice Ducati as a piece of art in my living room.
O-N will probably remember this one, but just outside Bolton, there used to be a pub, called the Squirrel, if I remember. That used to have a racing Norton on the bar... It was even changed regularly as well for other Norton racers... |

My friends got the bonnet from his first car sprayed up and on display in his living room. Looks nice.
I think my daughter would love the pink sofa in her bedroom, mummy wouldn't mind it in the conservatory. _________________ 1953 Humber Hawk

I remember that pub well UJ and the Squirrel it was, just outside of Horwich.
The landlord was at that time a former TT racer and the classic Norton on display when I went in was his own ride from those days.
What made the pub more remarkable in those days (late 70's) is that when turning up to a pub wearing leathers and a helmet I was regularly refused service on the grounds that they "Didn't serve Bikers', yet here was a landlord that not only ran a great bar but understood that motorcyclists were actually human!
Today, the pub still stands... as a Curry house |

Our rather cluttered mantleshelf has a reminder of my hobby above it.
Every wall and shelf in the house is covered by the Memsahibs paintings.
The one balanced on the bookshelf, to the right, fell on he toe yesterday and my mumblings about 'suffering for her art' did not go down well.
