Does anyone know the answer to this query?? funnily enough dad had 2 Mobylettes when I was a kid, I did my first engine swap on one (and it never ran again Laughing )

"I have just come across your website whilst searching for information on Mobylette/Motobecane scooters. I have just acquired one and am on the lookout for a Haynes manual of which there are several on sale on Ebay. However, I want to be certain that I am purchasing a manual that is suitable. I have found the identity plate but it is badly corroded and can just make out a model number that looks like N40 and can't read the serial number.
I have taken a photo and can make this available if you have someone who could identify the model for me.

Thanking you in anticipation"

Rick, I'm not to hot on mopeds, but if I remember correctly, Mobylette did make an N40 model around 1970 or so. It looked rather similar to the Puch Maxi.
