Starter motors, alternators and dynamos
I found another company and thought you might like to add it to your list

I did a 60 to 100 Amp alternator upgrade on my car, including the wiring, and I can say it was well worthwhile.
As far as hitorque starters go, I have heard a lot of good reports about them for US cars, so I assume the improvements would be just as good for european cars as well... |

I have a starter on the S Type it is beautifully efficient, fast start, less power to do so and unaffected by the heat around.
My only beef is it doesnt sound the same on start up, Jaguar have a "sound" as they start of turning ring gear and it is now replaced by a wurr!!
But other than that it is great _________________ www.OldFrenchCars.com

Did you do a wiring upgrade when you fitted the starter? The reason that I ask is that some of the ones I've seen are rated at over 2.2 kW. |
