Here's an interesting question, I know that some colleges do (or did..?) restoration courses - Colchester and one in Manchester spring to mind - but does anyone know the current availability of suitable training in this field??
"Hello
I was wondering if you knew of any courses in vintage car restoration or repair, or even just a history of? but something for beginners! I've looked on the internet but haven't really come across anything.
cheers, great website by the way, very informative and interesting,
Francesca"

Hi
Accrington and Rossendale College, for whom I drive a minibus on occasion have the following courses listed for this year.
Adult Learning
3 different Kits and Classics courses
http://www.accross.ac.uk/courses/adultlearning/motor-engineering-and-transport
Check the link for other course: Maintenance. Basic Maintenance, plus many others.
If Francesca tries various colleges in her area she should check their Adult Learning or LifeLong Learning courses.
next Academic year course may not be totally finalised yet. |
