A lad I used to work with dropped me an email the other day, he's on the Alfa stand on Saturday so I'll probably mosey over on Sat for a trawl around the jumble, and a mooch around the cars - not booked in so will have to pay at the gate (grrr). Same fella also got a 5dr Golf GTi Mk2, out of MOT but supposedly in decent nick, he wants rid of if anyone's interested? pm me if so

Phew, mighty hot n sunny today which made for a pleasant change!! will sort out some piccies later, didn't buy much in the 'jumble but had a good walk around and met up with a few people I'd not seen in a while Smile I went over in the Cambridge and parked in the public car park, on the way home I caught up with another identical A55 and we had our own little convoy for a few miles

For some reason I'm strangely drawn...not to what would perhaps be the more obvious vehicles but to the big yellow yank! Very Happy And of course the auto Union.

The immediate thing that struck me was the first photo, the Anglia. Nice as it is, I think that the way that I remember them being modified back in the day suited them a lot better.

O-N, I'm beginning to think that not only have you got me interested in 2CV's, I've got you interested in yanks.... Laughing
