Local election results show Nu-labour has taken the worst polls in 40 years.
Predictably Gordon Brown has said "Lessons have been learned" (again)
Mr.Brown also says he is 'Listening'.... well good! perhaps he might like to listen to this then?
1/The electorate will never forgive Nu-labour for unprecedented mass immigration.
2/We remember that when the prisons were full, you released rapists and terrorists in order to make room and imprisoned pensioners unable to pay spiralling council tax charges in their stead.
3/ You silenced debate on many important subjects by enforced 'political correctness' A culture of fear of prosecution then replaced free and open debate.
4/ You involved our country in an illegal war that has cost the lives of many of our young service personnel, they have fought bravely whilst inadequately equipped, and have returned home to be forgotten, and thus short changed for their efforts and injuries.
5/ You showed a complete disregard for the feelings of the electorate in matters relating to the EU constitution, your denied the referendum that was promised, you treated us like children.
6/ While the mega rich were buying honours and knighthoods from you, and evil foreign regimes that openly hate us were receiving billions of our taxpayers money in 'aid', our own NHS and hospitals were in crisis. You have also used our money to prop up a private banking business, we as taxpayers have no business in doing so.
7/You and your ilk have turned the once proud British police force into a Hamstrung, politically correct, 'diversity aware', automatons, who are more likely to prosecute the victim than the offender.
8/ You and Blair have done more to discredit the integrity of British politicians than anyone before...and that takes some doing! You have redefined the word 'spin' in the English dictionary. A lie is a lie by any other name!
9/ As I write the vile Ken Livingstone looks set to be ousted as mayor of London by a complete buffoon, this is a measure of how your 'multicultural politically correct' doctrine has been viewed by the majority of Londoners.
Ronald McDonald could have been elected just as easily as Boris Johnson.
10/...and the one that hurts the most. you have made me ashamed to have voted your party in, I have not voted in the local elections as I feel there is no longer a single party that reflects my hopes, fears, and aspirations, I feel politically orphaned! The Nu-Labour decade has left me a very cynical person.
Still listening Gordon? Rant over...but I do have flashbacks |

I have been stuffed twice.........no three times by their VED levels.
My 2001 Smart has a 600cc engine and they set the level for the lower tax at 121 gpk and at the time the Smart was 122........why did they pick that figure I wonder.
They also froze the 25 year free historic road atx at 1972. So my 1981 Chevy will never be old enough.
My 2003 Ford Crown Victoria is classed as a "Ultra Low Emission Vehicle" in the state of California. The place with the most stringent emission regulations. However as a import it is automatically placed in the highest bracket. Even my MOT tester said when testing the emissions "That is the cleanest I have ever seen".
I only do about 2000 miles a year in the car but I am going to pay £400.
Gordon Brown is the best Tory ever. _________________ 1964 International Harvester |

All very good points, may I add one as well:
How you're government (and Prescot) has actively dismantled the British Fire Service to a point where the standards of fire cover are so reduced that the public in Great Britian are now in danger. Reducing numbers of appliances, reducing crew levels, closing fire stations, reducing budgets that bought essential rescue equipment, changing the structure to a point firefighters don't know whether they're coming or going, changing tried & tested procedures in the name of PC'ness. But most importantly - cutting the heart & soul out of one of the most dedicated emergency services the British public had! |

It's interesting also that the residents of Berwick upon tweed have voted to become part of Scotland again, and some English towns bordering with Wales are making the same noises.
This government have not only dismantled the fire service, but the health service, underfunded the armed services, and have by stealth, extracted more money from the 'average' person than even the Tories could have dreamt of.
There have been well over 3000 new laws (and therefore crimes) introduced in the last ten years, none of which (apart from the dog fouling one) seem to have been of any benefit to society, ask the man who was recently fined £250 for leaving his dustbin lid open four inches!
I stayed up last night to see the results and savour the faces of the Nu-Labour cronies such as Tessa Jowell who became flusteringly apologetic about the trouncing.
The same phrase was uttered over and over, 'we will now listen to the public', which begs the question 'Then why have you not listened thus far?'
To see slack-jawed Gordon Brown, showing his newly straightened teeth in that phoniest of all phony smiles, and saying once again that "Lessons have been learned" was priceless!
I have hated this Blair regime, it was not what I expected when I voted for them ten years ago. I think Nu-Labour will go down in History as the greatest swindlers, liars, and cultural vandals this country has ever seen.
For me the number one most sickening thing is that the left wing Teachers, Policemen, Council officials and civil servants that enthusiastically colluded in the era of Nu-Labours deconstruction of a nation, will now begin to melt away into the background once again and retain their positions.

a "white Robert Mugabe"... now you see things for what they are!
first off, let me say that i am not a racist IMHO; but when i see in the news the complete and utter lack of accountability in any Black-run government i shudder to think that we in the US are on the brink of electing a closeted Muslim half-caste Black president whose philosophical education comes from fanatical '60's militant leaders....
for many MANY years i have thought of emigrating TO the UK in order to return to my historical roots, but given the state of things there i could never do so.
"you can never go home again" i think was the famous line...
i sincerely hope that sound minds prevail over there; from what i've heard, you've been asked to do too much for too long.
and what idiot gobsmack would cut back on fire services? i'm flabbergasted. |

The reason Ken was there in the first place is because he only had the opposition of bigger bufoons in the first election. One Frank Dobson, who had recently presided over the downgrading of Canterbury Hospital (which is causing great hardship and risk to life). I would actually have voted for Red Ken in preference. Looking back it makes me shudder. |

Every once in a while in Boxing there comes along a champion of such ability that he is the one that defines an era, think of the Ali/Foreman/Frazier era, with Roberto Duran and others making a golden age for the sport..so much talent all at one time.
The same could be said of singers, artists, writers actors etc. In any field there are the occasional giants that come to the fore, and by the force of their very being define the age.
The tragedy that has befallen us Politically is that there has been no champion, no gifted and forceful individual to lead us, nor to oppose the meddling destruction of the last decade. Tony Blair wasn't a gifted politician, he was simply a sly and guileful conman, a second hand car dealer amongst gullible punters. The mess we were in has less to do with his governance and more to do with the complete lack of any credible opposition...there are no giants in this era- only pigmy's.
This gives rise to apathy amongst the electorate, the feeling that no matter who you vote for 'they're all the same' when they get into power. The current massive swing in the polls doesn't mean that the voters think David Cameron or Boris Johnson are good, they're not, it simply means that the public have finally awakened to how bad NuLabour and their PC doctrine has been for Britain and wish to vote for the least damaging option! What a state of affairs! It's like being asked would you rather be hung or shot! |
