This query arrived today, does anyone recall this dealership or agency? the name rings a bell, I wonder if I've seen ads for them in old copies of The Motor or Autocar???

"I am trying to find some information on a car dealer that sold my Austin Mini Countryman back in 1962. As stated on the heritage certificate for the car, the name of the dealer was, Car Mart Limited, Central. The car was despatched 25 Oct 1962 and the registration mark 946 EYF was issued in London.
Is there any way of finding this dealer within an archive or the likes of. Thanks, Danny."

| A good place to look for info would be in the BMC Road Map and Gazetteer covering the london area as this will have adverts for most of the BMC dealers in the area |
