Did anyone spot this on ebay recently? The perverse side of me really wanted to buy it to sit alongside the Matta, but fortunately a lack of funds prevented another financial hole being created in the garage Laughing

Extremely rare 1971 Alfa Romeo A12 for sale. LHD.

These vehicles are rare, only a handful known in the world.

The vehicle shares most of the running gear from the 1300cc Giulia of the period, including its peppy 1300cc twin cam engine. It drives through a front wheel drive gearbox unique to this vehicle.

This vehicle was imported by us earlier this year. The mechanical side of the vehicle has been fully overhauled, including new brakes all round. The engine runs very sweetly & the drive of the vehicle is very good for a commercial vehicle from 1971. Dare I say pokey? New cab floor pans have been fitted to get the vehicle to a MOT standard.

It requires minor body repairs to the cab & doors, also repairing on the roof from a ‘mafia’ style bullet hole, if only it was that glamorous. The rear bed has a few holes in the floor where it had a generator mounted. It has a very small amount of rust on the fold down sides. Then you can paint it the colour of your choice & use it to advertise your business, classic Alfa racing team or even mount a classic ‘Maserati’ motor cycle in the back & take it to the shows – Maserati Motor cycle also available at the right price.

The vehicle comes with 11 months MOT, free road fund licence & fully UK registered to us.

Needs to be seen to be appreciated. Please note that we are in no great rush to sell this vehicle, so no silly offers please.

With the right paint job that could be a very smart pick-up - I'm thinking red & silver. Cool
