|
|
Hi chaps, I want to buy a gallon of Castrol Classic XL 20w50. I see that it is available at around £18 gallon but p&p adds another £10.
Do you know if this is generally available over the counter anywhere?
Cheers Rich... |

That is one of the good things about France, 20/50 is obtainable even from supermarkets here alongside serviceables for 2cv and old renaults etc

I bought a gallon of Castrol 50w last year at an autojumble. I often see it for sale in the stalls _________________ ROVER

Why does it have to be Castrol? Or 20/50 for that matter?
I feel a bit confused.... |

Halfords do their own make 20/50 classic oil - although I'm pretty sure I saw Castrol classic on their shelves as well. |

Thanks for all the help, looks like buying 2 x cans from Castrol with free delivery is the way to go.
Not sure where £20 delivery came from, I said £10...
The "Where to buy" facility isn't product specific, it just lists every outlet for Castrol, I assure you Halfords and the Murco filling station don't sell Classic 20W/50

This is online bullying, I was warned by my parents about this, when I was younger! |

Hehe, perfect !!
Always getting into trouble, one disaster after another, and I can’t begin to count the numbers of times I’ve heard that shout, “Mum, Mummy, MUMMY !!” dreading what I’d find when I got there!!
Sorry Dave, not really bullying - just a little laugh.

Hi
I rung you to stop them teasing me, not to laugh too!
The scary bit is last tail end I found a wasp nest in the garage, so donned my bee suit, and gloves, (remembering I am highly alergic to the venom) so wrapped up well. Got a metal sand fire bucket poured a little petrol in the bottom, about an inch, and pulled the wasp nest off the roof in the garage and dropped it in the bucket, putting the lid on after it.
Moved it outside, and left it for a while, petrol vapours killing the wasps, then opened the lid, and lit a match, woosh the vapour caught and there was a fire ball, right were you have put it on the picture, luckily my mum wasn't there at the time! hehe
Cheers
